Hey Dude,

Thought I would be back by now, but the melodrama continues. They still don’t have a full diagnosis for my husband, and our nephew was killed in a car crash (high speed, into a mountain, then flipped) and we buried him yesterday.

I was away for a while because I was getting ready for a pretty big show, but then, as they say, shit got serious.

My husband was in a very bad car wreck. He wasn’t really hurt, but the car was totaled and he damaged a building. He had blacked out behind the wheel.

I found out that he had blacked out at work a few days before, but had refused to go to the hospital. He’s done it several times at home since then. We’ve been back and forth to a bunch of specialists and it’s really pointing to a genetic blood disorder that’s making the iron in his blood reach toxic levels…which would be effecting his heart and liver and sending him into shock, hence the blackouts.

Hopefully we’ll find out what’s going on exactly and have a course of treatment soon. I told him maybe the accident was actually lucky.

Pissed off and generally unhappy…

…because I had to drink a half gallon (no joke) of barium YET AGAIN.
